You can read more here - bewarned, the site pops regarding adblockers… Let’s do a little math. 6 hours a day for a 14 year old. School “gets out” around 3pm, maybe?

Instead of paying adults more, some states might let companies hire kids as young as 14 to fill the labor shortage Lawmakers in Iowa and Minnesota have introduced legislation in the last month proposing exceptions to child labor regulations in their respective states, due to the persisting labor shortage hitting them particularly hard. Minnesota lost 90,000 workers alone during the pandemic, according to state demographers, making it one of the tightest labor markets in the country.
